NTI continues to grow ecosystem of partners to better serve NonStop community

It would be hard to miss the growth in the ecosystem of partners NTI has attracted. The NonStop community is familiar with the DRNet® product suite but this hasn’t stopped NTI reaching out to product, service and consulting companies to ensure NTI’s coverage worldwide. The presence of these partners in an ecosystem does two things for the company; it reassures prospects that there have been others before them, so risks are greatly reduced and it reinforces the NonStop community at large that the company and its products provide a compelling reason for others to consider DRNet® in the future.

A lot has changed within the NonStop community. HPE has invested in the NonStop product line and there are numerous options available to the community. NonStop continues to be sold along traditional lines as a converged system but it is also available as a virtual system on customer-supplied x86 servers. These options have become well known, but perhaps even more interesting is the move by the NonStop team to provide NonStop SQL on the basis of a Database Server (DBS) accessible through standard database calls from any Linux application. This option is available today, but available shortly will be the Database Cloud Edition – another big step towards the transformation of NonStop to be a software play worthy of as much attention by the industry as has been traditional NonStop systems.

For NTI this has contributed significantly to its move to expand its ecosystem of partners. NTI was the first third-party vendor to deliver a data replication solution, pioneering the more efficient Change Data Capture (CDC) methodology and one where support of non-TMF protected files was provided whereby eliminating the need for additional products. Leveraging data replication to include support of data integration, distribution and transformation – news that was first announced at the NonStop Technical Boot Camp back in 2019 further separating DRNet® from its competitors.

The core products comprising the DRNet® product suite included DRNet® , DRNet® / Open and DRNet® /Vision are collectively built atop the DRNet® platform – decoupled in order to better meet the growing needs of enterprises wanting more from the data they create. It is against this background that adding a partner that brings with it sales and support in markets previously not as well addressed by NTI is a major step forward for NTI.

Adding Concerto, as was announced last month, will ensure “greater presence of the DRNet® product suite in markets not previously served by NTI. As NTI and Concerto are both HPE Silver Partners, there is considerable synergy with regards to the way they both embrace the HPE NonStop product portfolio. With this agreement in place, Concerto will leverage its extensive expertise in NonStop and Payments whereby businesses relying on NonStop will be able to capitalize on the benefits provided by DRNet®.”

In addition to the core products making up the DRNet® product suite, NTI has turned to partners to provide tools and utilities focused on adding value to DRNet®. There has been no better partner relationship than with TANDsoft, where NTI and TANDsoft have cooperated to ensure even more value can be derived from the DRNet® product suite. TANDsoft’s FileSync, FS Compare and Repair and FS Backup and Restore all contribute to NTI’s DRNet® product suite’s tools and utilities offerings.

Perhaps less known is the presence of NonStop consulting and communications company, Pyalla Technologies, LLC whose work in support of NTI and the DRNet® product suite has been hard to miss of late. Adding the presence of consulting companies like Pyalla Technologies to product companies like TANDsoft and services companies like Concerto is sending a very strong message to the NonStop community that the DRNet® product suite is attracting well-known companies into its growing partner ecosystem.

“The interest in NTI and the DRNet® product suite among the NonStop partner community is encouraging,” said Tim Dunne, NTI’s Global Director Worldwide Sales. “It is very possible that more NonStop partners will be attracted to NTI in the coming year and as a HPE Silver Partner, NTI provides leadership when it comes to working with partners all across the board. In today’s business climate there’s no question that pooling resources while targeting a common business requirement simply makes a whole lot of sense.”

NTI has a proven track record of delivering technologically superior solutions as well as the experience to make them work for customers. NTI’s commitment to active research and development ensures the future availability of significant product enhancements for NTI clients.

The June through July period proved rather hectic as one event followed another. As the team returned from Leipzig, Germany, where the GTUG / European NonStop HotSpot 2018 had been held the plans were put in place to spend time with even more members of the Nonstop community. First it was a short trip to join with our good friends in Texas and Oklahoma for the N2TUG NonStop User Group meeting. A matter of a few days later, some of us then went to Las Vegas for HPE Discover 2018 before even more of the NTI team traveled  to Palo Alto for the NonStop Partner Technology Symposium 2018.  There is always something new that finds its way on to an agenda and there are always surprises. You don’t have to spend all that much time talking to your colleagues to better understand what was really being said between the lines, as it were. No, this time around HPE and the NonStop management held few punches as the transformation to Hybrid IT continues unabated. The NonStop user community is tu

Las Vegas ignited considerable interest in HPE; NTI adds capabilities to better support NonStop!

Edinburgh’s European (NonStop) Technical Boot Camp (ETBC) proved to be very good for NTI as it took the wraps off its strategy for NonStop. Introducing the NonStop community to PRO Vision ing: Excellence in Data gave notice to all members of the NonStop community that NTI was very much aware of the strategy being pursued by HPE and was aligning its own product roadmaps to better leverage the new and the upcoming   capabilities of HPE’s mission critical systems portfolio. There are many ways to ingest data created on NonStop, but building products using Change Data Capture (CDC) methodology ensures the speed needed to participate in today’s always connected, always on, world is guaranteed. There are many ways to analyze data but having the fastest solution for inclusion in analytics processing in real time means NonStop users have access to the information even as transactions are being processed.
